Shoreham Footbridge, West Sussex

Shoreham Footbridge, West Sussex – Murform is now in the final phase of its element of the construction of this new 220m long footbridge for Osbornes, spanning Shoreham harbour between the town centre and beach. This wider, more modern bridge, designed for both pedestrians and cyclists, replaces the existing Shoreham footbridge built in the 1920s that is no longer suitable. The largely concrete and steel structure of the new bridge will also feature glass balustrades that will improve the views from the bridge for all users. It is hoped this new route will encourage more people to walk or cycle between the two locations, rather than driving.
