Murform is undertaking the FRC works to 9 structures including bridges and culverts, on the South Devon Link Road, a 5.5km stretch of dual carriageway that will provide a bypass for the village of Kingskerswell. The current A380 between Penn Inn and Torquay is one of the most heavily used roads in the region. It is hoped that the new South Devon Link Road, scheduled to be completed by December 2015, will remove 95% of the current traffic away from the village of Kingskerswell, providing a safer less congested and faster route for through traffic, leaving the existing route for just local traffic.
