The Borders Railway Project is the longest new domestic railway to be constructed in Britain for over 100 years between Edinburgh and Tweedbank in the Scottish Borders. Murform are to construct 3 bridges and 1 underpass on the new Borders Railway Project. The 3 bridges include constructing cill beams onto existing masonry abutments, approach slabs, new bridge decks and then parapet walls with a Reckli formliner and offset peaking copes. The underpass is a pedestrian tunnel beneath the permanent way with approximately 50m of sloping ramps and stairs on both sides of the track.
