Murform are currently completing the formwork, rebar and concrete works for an extension to Dinish Wharf in Castletownbere in County Cork Ireland. The works will boost the fishing trade and local economy of the town by increasing the capacity of the wharf and attracting more businesses to the area.
Our scope of work for the project are to construct a 200m capping beam, 200m of 4.7m high quay panel, reinforced concrete slabs and Eastern & Western breakwater. We are using a Dawson sheet pile soffit to construct the capping beam, working from a raft to access the working area.
