Our work for Morrison Construction on the Forres Flood Alleviation Scheme is well underway. The overall project will reduce the potential risk of flooding to the nearby town of Forres which has endured severe floods in recent years. Murform’s work is concentrated on the construction of a pumping station and will involve FRC works to the various chambers and inlet headwall. In the event of a flood this pumping station will divert flood waters from the river Findhorn away from the town.
