Murform are to carry out the RC works at Hunterston Convertor Station in Ayrshire for John Sisk. This is the Scottish part of the National Grid and Scottish Power Western Link project, which will help bring the renewable energy from Scotland to the remainder of the UK by transmitting the power through the Convertor Station to a sub-sea cable before being connected to the grid again at Deeside Flintshire. The site is approximately 400m by 200m, and consists of pad foundations, ground slabs, fire walls and retaining walls.
