Romany House, Virginia Water Surrey

Set against the scenic backdrop of the Wentworth Golf Course in the South of England, Romany House is a large luxury private new build two-storey residence featuring a single-level underground car park area and an outdoor swimming pool.  Murform completed the project for clients Surrey Excavations.

The 5.4m deep basement area features full entertainment facilities, wine cellar, staff areas and space for secure underground parking accessed via a curved reinforced concrete ramp with retaining walls.

The scope of the project extended well beyond the basement, encompassing the construction of a sophisticated cast in situ stair core that is not only functional but also a true architectural statement at the very centre of the property.
