We have recently completed the pre-casting of the 5 bridge deck units, outer parapets, and 12 riser/cill beams for the Thornliebank bridge replacement for Story Contracting Limited, on behalf of Network Rail, Glasgow City Council and East Renfrewshire Council.
The parapets included incorporated Reckli-lined shutters for a stonework pattern. The units were lifted into place during weekend and nighttime rail closures.
We are currently completing the 10No precast wing walls for each side, and then the in-situ retaining structure will follow.
